The District Chief Executive for Nanumba South participated in the U.S. Mayors’ Trade and Investment Mission to Ghana,

The District Chief Executive for Nanumba South, Honourable Musah Abdul-Rashid together with other Ghanaian mayors and district leaders, participated in the U.S. Mayors’ Trade and Investment Mission to Ghana, held on 27th October 2025 at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel.

The event, hosted by Ambassador Nancy Q. Sam and led by Hon. Phyllis Dickerson, CEO of the American Mayors Association (AAMA), brought together twenty U.S. Mayors and senior officials to explore trade, investment, and partnership opportunities with Ghana’s Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies (MMDAs).

Through networking and business matchmaking sessions, the DCE for Nanumba South District, honourable Musah Abdul Rashid engaged directly with American mayors and investors on potential collaborations in agriculture, education, infrastructure, and youth development — key sectors that align with the district’s growth priorities.

These discussions open the door for future partnerships that will boost local agriculture, enhance educational resources, create employment opportunities, and promote sustainable development in Nanumba South District.
